500L provides more laid back and subtle oak expression than a 228/225L barrel. A favourite for Chardonnay.
Available Toast levels: Medium Light/Medium Long (MX) Medium/Medium + or Heavy toast, with optional Toasted Heads.
Grain selection: Medium Tight, Tight or Very Tight.
Seasoning: Standard or 3 year.
